He also leads the daily funding and weekly sales, specializing in commercial loans.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Angelo began his career as a management trainee with Pershing and Company in 1982 and became a GNMA principal and interest supervisor with Drexel in 1985. Following this time, he served as the vice president of RBS-Greenwich Capital Markets in 1988, where he helped the company develop a tracking system to monitor all the loans rather than relying solely on spreadsheets. Despite not being an information technology expert, he was able to create the formatting for their IT department to build loan tracking systems and get rid of manual tracking. He continued his career working in whole loan operations for the Ellington Management Group in 2010 and was a senior servicing accountant for Planet Home Lending, LLC in 2017.
To prepare for his career, Mr. Angelo earned a Bachelor of Arts in accounting and finance from Iona University in 1982. Well-qualified in his field, he holds licenses in life and health insurance as well as a Series 6 and Series 63 license. Within the coming years, he intends to finish his career on a high note while the company is thriving, helping the business recover after temporarily closing during the COVID-19 pandemic.
