During the early stages of her career, Ms. DeMory gained valuable expertise in critical veterinary care, client services, research, education, and more through varying roles with the Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center, Arbor View Animal Hospital, the Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory, Illinois State University, Bark n' Buddies, Southlane Hospital, and Valparaiso Animal Hospital. Outside of her work, Ms. DeMory contributes to her community through her church and Kitty CrusAide, an organization dedicated to reducing the feral cat populations.
An expert in her field, Ms. DeMory studied abroad at the University of Wollongong in Australia before earning a bachelor's degree in biological sciences from Indiana University. Subsequently, she expanded upon her professional knowledge by completing a Master of Science in Biological Sciences from Illinois State University, and an MBA from Columbia College. Due to her vast breadth of knowledge, Ms. DeMory published her thesis "Male quality influences male provisioning in house wrens independent of attractiveness" in Behavioral Ecology in 2010. The cornerstone of her overall success lay in the support of her family and her faith. Looking ahead, Ms. DeMory intends to continue to expand her knowledge and skills to significantly impact the veterinary industry.
