Subsequently, he accepted a position in network support with Sigma Home School and was a valued associate there from 1998 to 1999 before transitioning to the title of support analyst with Lanlink Informática Ltd. Mr. Diogenes relocated to the United States in 2003 and excelled as a support engineer with Microsoft/Compcontech before prospering for a brief period as a server advisor with Dell Inc. between 2004 and 2006.
In 2006, Mr. Diogenes returned to Microsoft as a senior security support escalation engineer, where he thrived through 2011. His diverse background with the firm continued when he accepted the role of senior technical writer for the Windows security team in 2011 before transitioning to a parallel role for the server and cloud division information experience team in 2012. Mr. Diogenes was humbled to be named a senior knowledge engineer for the data center, devices and enterprise client – CSI, with Microsoft in 2013 before acting as a senior content developer for the CSI Enterprise Mobility and Security Team from 2014 to 2017.
Superb academic and industry credentials, including CISSP, CySA+, Network+, CASP and MITRE ATT&CK Cyber Threat Intelligence Certified, are a significant component of Mr. Diogenes' professional success. He is currently pursuing a PhD in cybersecurity leadership at Capitol Technology University, and he has earned a Master of Science in cybersecurity intelligence and forensics from Utica College in 2014. Mr. Diogenes also holds a Master of Business Administration in information technology management from the Universidade Gama Filho, which he completed in 2013, and in 2006, he attended the Fundação Getulio Vargas to complete the requirements of a Master of Business Administration degree.
With a focus on the value of higher education, Mr. Diogenes contributes his expertise through a faculty appointment at EC-Council University in New Mexico, where he has been a professor since 2015 and is a three-time recipient of the Faculty of the Year Award.
