In his role, Mr. Joseph designs the hardware and software architecture of the products, identifies key technologies, fosters strategic partnerships, and assembles the right development teams. He's involved in the product lifecycle from concept through production. He brings with him relevant experience from two distinct fields, aviation, and electronics/software. He has previously worked in the aviation industry as a pilot, and as a flight instructor. Prior to embarking on his professional journey, he obtained a bachelor's degree in computer science from Pennsylvania Western University – Clarion. Mr. Joseph also holds an FAA commercial pilot's certificate with instrument and multi-engine ratings as well as flight instructor and instrument instructor certificates.
Mr. Joseph spent his formative years on the island of Borneo. He attributes his education advancement opportunities to his parents who sent him abroad to pursue further studies. His people networking and people skills helped him rapidly advance in both career fields. It was a serendipitous encounter with the late founder and chief executive officer of Siren Marine, Inc., that brought him to the company. Mr. Joseph was an airline captain for a FedEx contractor in 2017 when he found himself engaged in conversation with the Siren Marine founder. Finding Mr. Joseph's engineering background impressive, the founder invited him to join his startup company. Mr. Joseph agreed, leveraging his expertise and networking skills that he had previously fostered in the electronics industry to help the company succeed.
