Before his present leadership roles, Mr. Sanchez began his career as an area supervisor, recruiter and account manager for Hospitality Staffing Solutions in 2005 and became a property manager for La Casa Apartments in 2008. The following year, he was a regional operations manager with ECU Staffing, Inc. and became a regional property manager for Pangea Properties in 2010. Following this time, he served as the director of operations for ECU Staffing Multi-Service, Inc. until taking a role as a property manager for Meritus Communities in 2019. In 2019, he was the regional manager for Renewing Management, Inc. and was a property manager with RADCO Residential in 2020. He continued his career as a portfolio manager for VineBrook Homes LLC in 2021.
While working in real estate, Mr. Sanchez took over a company that managed over 1200 residential homes in Indianapolis. The portfolio was not up to his standards, having over 300 city and health department violations that were pending and overdue. He was able to reach out to the numerous supervisors and managers from the city and health department, extending the timelines and collaborating with the maintenance director to have these properties brought up to codes and standards, fixing the many problems and avoiding any litigations.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Sanchez completed coursework towards a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis. Well-qualified in his field, he completed a landlord training program with the Marion County Prosecutor's Office and in asbestos awareness with the City of Indianapolis Environmental Services. He also holds certification in fair housing compliance with the Fair Housing Institute, Inc.
