Ms. Gray has been personally honored with the Outstanding Service Award from Sutter Bay Medical Foundation

Affiliated with Sutter Bay Medical Foundation, a nonprofit health care organization, Ms. Gray serves as a Clinical Effectiveness Consultant III. In her high-level position, she oversees seven surgery centers, works with the Ambulatory Surgery Center leadership teams to ensure all charting and documentation are complete and accurate, reviews patient safety reports, and, among other obligations, works with the California Department of Public Health and other organizations to obtain licensure, and meet and maintain regulatory standards.
Over the past 15 years in the industry, Ms. Gray has been recognized for her work, including for her contribution to her company's error prevention tools training, which included the development of an instructive class for the physicians, staff, and leadership team to improve safety and to standardize the process in promoting the organization's reliability. She has also garnered experience in various areas of nursing, including surgical services, sexual assault, perioperative, and endoscopy.
As Sutter Bay expands by opening additional surgery centers, Ms. Gray aims to be promoted to manager or director of quality. The organization needs strong leaders capable of overseeing operations. Ms. Gray believes her qualifications will make her an excellent fit as a future leader and a dedicated, hardworking nursing professional who takes pride in her work.
Before joining the Division of Ambulatory Services team, Ms. Gray was a clinical manager at the PAMF Surgery Center in San Carlos, California, from 2015 to 2020. She also served as the Surgery Centers' infection preventionist and GI charge nurse. Additionally, Ms. Gray was a registered nurse for the Sexual Assault Response Team at the San Mateo Medical Center.
Ms. Gray earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Andrews University in 2002. She also received credentials as a certified sexual assault nurse examiner.
To remain aware of developments in her industry, Ms. Gray is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates, the National Association for Healthcare Quality, and the Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses.
As a testament to her influence and the power of team collaboration, the Surgery Center of San Carlos has achieved remarkable recognition, with accolades including the prestigious Woman's Health Choice Award, two American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Unit of Recognition Awards, and two CASA Awards of Excellence.
