During the early stages of her career, Ms. Hammond gained valuable expertise in the field as Director of Finance for Fiserv, a Senior Finance Manager for Novartis as well as a Finance Manager II for the Coca-Cola Company, and in various other financial roles with the Walt Disney World Company, Darden Restaurants, and Deloitte and Touche, LLC. Alongside her work. She has dedicated herself to her community by teaching Christian education at her church and also serving on many not-for-profit boards in a financial oversight capacity, including organizations such as Gamma Phi Delta, Inc., I AM Beautiful, Inc. and the National Association of Black Accountants, Inc.
As a breast cancer survivor, she makes it a point to participate in health and wellness activities and fundraisers. The cornerstone of her success lies in her faith and her tenacity along with the support of her close family of three daughters, son-in-law and three grandchildren.
As an expert in her field and a Certified Public Accountant, Ms. Hammond holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Fayetteville State University, a Bachelor in Theology from Christian Life School of Theology, and an Executive MBA in Global Business from the University of North Carolina, Kenan Flagler Business School. While her career has been filled with highlights, she takes the most pride in serving as a strategic turnaround agent for the companies where she works.
