A skilled professional with more than two decades of proven excellence in supply chain logistics, operations management, business development, and sales, Mr. Gilmore has earned distinction as a corporate accounts manager for Motion. Since 2021, he has focused his efforts on working with the company's largest multi-site clients headquartered in the state of Michigan, negotiating corporate supply agreements with key decision makers to help create mutually beneficial, long-term partnership arrangements.
Prior to joining Motion, Mr. Gilmore began his career as a produce clerk for Felpausch Food Center in the year 2000. He then entered the hardware and industrial supply sector as a department manager and supervisor for Ace Hardware from 2002 through 2011, during which, he also functioned as a certified personal trainer and manager for Snap Fitness 24/7 from 2008 until 2013. Beginning in 2011, Mr. Gilmore took a role in outside sales with Fastenal, and was promoted to general manager in early 2013. Within a year, he was promoted to a role of national accounts sales specialist, where he achieved success until departing to become executive vice president of business development and sales for The PNR Group in 2020.
Among his professional accomplishments, Mr. Gilmore was honored with a Bolt Award for finishing in the top 1% of sales by Fastenal in 2012. In addition, he received the MRO Supplier of the Year Award in 2015 and 2017 from Meritor, and a Key Supplier Award from the Brose Group in 2017 for implementing successful programs.
While developing his professional journey, Mr. Gilmore earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Davenport University in 2008. Immediately following, he obtained an MBA from Central Michigan University in 2009, with a specialty in management consulting. Most recently, Daniel acquired a specialization certificate in management and leadership, and three additional certificates as part of an executive education study through Harvard Business School in 2021. He also holds certifications in advertising, human resources, public relations, and negotiation, in addition to being a Six Sigma Black Belt.
Looking to the future, Mr. Gilmore intends to grow and refine his skillset, engaging in continued education in an effort to stay on the cutting edge of modern business.
