Grateful to her mother-in-law, who worked with Windermere for many years and introduced her to property management, Ms. Bartlett accepted a position. Her role enabled her to utilize her human resources skills and business background. It also made her more available to her children to enjoy a more flexible work-life balance as a working mother. Ms. Bartlett notably works alongside her sister, who serves as her assistant and is also the owner of Itty Bitty Cleaning services.
Supplementing her property management position, Ms. Bartlett is the owner of Bartlett Vacation Rental Management (BVRM) LLC. Working alongside her business partner and husband, the company offers full-service solutions for vacation rental owners. Initially, Ms. Bartlett was approached by a real estate investor who needed help securing an employee willing to accept a position in short-term rental management in Kitsap County. After investigating the business, Ms. Bartlett brought the information to Windermere but was not interested in a partnership. Shortly thereafter, she was permitted to establish her own company offering short-term rental management, launching BVRM in 2022.
As a leader in her local community, Ms. Bartlett enjoys giving back. Among various interests, she has previously served as the director for the CAHS Agency in Nevada helping families secure basic needs through grant funded resources. Additionally, Ms. Bartlett gives back to the community by attending the annual Reach For The Sky charity auction, which raises awareness of child abuse and the Period of PURPLE Crying. This cause is close to her heart after her best friend's granddaughter Annabelle was shaken to death at 8 weeks old. Every year Ms. Bartlett attends with her best friend and contributes to the cause in the hope a similar tragedy never befalls another family.
Ms. Bartlett graduated from Ashford University with a bachelor's degree in organizational development with a focus on human resources and a Master of Business Administration. Additionally, Ms. Bartlett garnered credentials as a licensed real estate agent in Washington.
Active in her professional community, Ms. Bartlett is a member of the Kitsap County Association of Realtors and Brewin' Biz. In light of her achievements, she was recognized as the Best Property Manager in Kitsap County in 2022. Ms. Bartlett is proud of being a self-made entrepreneur who worked hard to succeed.
