Mr. Agbekodo is a quality assurance engineer celebrating more than 25 years of expertise in his field. Inspired by his father's career in engineering, Mr. Agbekodo studied at the Universite de Picardie Jules Verne in France, earning a master's degree in electrical and computer engineering in 1999. He relocated to Canada, where he continued his education at McGill University, studying project management, and in 2012 he was awarded a Master of Business Administration by Universite de Sherbrooke. Currently, Mr. Agbekodo is a doctoral candidate at Cambridge College, where he anticipates completing a Doctor of Business Administration in quality systems and improvement management in 2026.
Mr. Agbekodo began his career in 1999 in France as a telecommunication engineer for Bosh Telecoms. He moved to Canada in 2006 as a CDMA engineer and team leader for Motorola Canada, departing the following year to accept a senior systems engineer position with InterDigit1 Communications. Through the early 2010s, he excelled in quality assurance roles with Videotron and Canadian National, and spent a year as a server integration engineer for Gemalto before entering the financial services sector as a senior quality assurance engineer for Standard Life Wealth in 2012. Between 2015 and 2017, he served as a QA specialist for Paysafe Group, and brought his diverse skillset to both Desjardins and the Commission de la Construction du Quebec as a senior quality assurance automation engineer in 2017.
Since 2019, Mr. Agbekodo has been affiliated with Idea Financial, where he currently serves as quality assurance manager. He joined the company, then a small startup with a staff of fifteen, as a QA test engineer, and has been instrumental in its growth to a team of more than 40. As quality assurance manager, Mr. Agbekodo is responsible for defining the test strategy, overseeing automation tests and quality assurance performance indicators for all company products in a rapidly growing portfolio. Mr. Agbekodo considers his growth from engineering to leadership to be his greatest professional accomplishment, and he is proud to have developed and synthesized the broad range of technical and management skills that have allowed him to succeed in the banking industry.
In his personal time, Mr. Agbekodo is passionate about travel, and is a dedicated philanthropist. His support extends to organizations including Live Like Bella, a childhood cancer charity, and he hopes to eventually sponsor the construction of a school in Africa.
