Mr. Beckwermert initially began his profession working as a professional forester for a phenomenal entrepreneur where Mr. Beckwermert learnt many of his business skills. He then worked for the Government of Saskatchewan in a variety of roles, including as a program review analyst for the treasury board division department of finance, a manager of capital financing and forecasting, and the director of environmental policy and legislation. During his tenure with the environment department, he was the provincial representative/negotiator for NACE, a NAFTA side agreement dealing with the environment. Following his civil service, he co-founded such organizations as the Bridgetown Energy Corporation, Neutrino Resources Inc., Ravenwood Resources Inc. and the Ravenwood Energy Corporation.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Beckwermert pursued an education at Lakehead University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Forestry in 1982. He continued his academic efforts at Lakehead University, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1983. Mr. Beckwermert is committed to personal development and has completed various courses and programs in this field across North America over the last four decades. Long dedicated to civic advocacy, Mr. Beckwermert contributes to various charity organizations, including Light Up The World, The Magic of Christmas and the Bridgepoint Center for Eating Disorders, among other local foundations in the community, including the sponsorship of a number of children to help break the cycle of poverty since the early 1990's.
Well-regarded for his contributions to the field, Mr. Beckwermert has received multiple awards, including the Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year award from Ernst and Young Global Limited in 1997. Among his professional accomplishments, he is most proud to have courageously invested all his resources into his first oil company, Neutrino Resources Inc., in 1994.
