A seasoned insurance expert with years of expertise in underwriting, and commercial, property, and liability insurance, Mrs. Sultner presently excels as a level three middle market underwriter for Westfield. In this capacity, she reviews and analyzes accounts in full detail, liaises with agents to deliver renewal quotes, negotiates pricing, and oversees a renewal portfolio that spans northeastern Ohio and Pennsylvania which consists of trade contractors, commercial real estate, manufacturers, distributors, and hospitality risks. Previously, Mrs. Sultner worked as a senior underwriter for VFIS (Glatfelter Insurance Group division of AIG) and as an underwriting assistant for both VFIS and Glatfelter Commercial Ambulance.
During the early stages of her career, Mrs. Sultner honed her expertise in property and casualty insurance as an assistant underwriting support analyst and business analyst for Glatfelter Insurance Group. Mrs. Sultner started her career as an intern her senior year of high school and upon graduation began her insurance career as an underwriting assistant for VFIS and continued to grow her career there over the next 20 years. In conjunction with her work, she has dedicated herself to those less fortunate and her community as a board member of the American Cancer Society, a running mentor with I Run 4, and a caregiver mentor with Imerman Angels. She has additionally volunteered her time for Junior Achievement and served as Secretary of her children's elementary school PTO. Mrs. Sultner is proud to have been a member of the Girl Scouts of the USA her entire school career. Additionally, Mrs. Sultner is involved with various groups at Westfield and volunteers as a coach for her daughter's basketball and field hockey teams and her son's baseball team and is actively involved with many of her 3 (soon to be 4) children's activities.
An expert in her field, Ms. Sultner studied personal computing productivity at York College of Pennsylvania, earned several certificates through LinkedIn and NCCI, and became a certified insurance service representative (CISR and CISR-Elite) through The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research. Similarly, she received an Associate in Insurance Services (AIS), an Associate in General Insurance (AINS) and an Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU) through The Institutes Knowledge Group. While her career has been filled with many highlights, she takes the most pride in obtaining several licenses and certifications in the insurance industry. Looking ahead, Mrs. Sultner intends to expand upon her expertise in her current role and further advance within the Westfield organization.
