Prior to joining Proscout Inc. in 1987, Mr. Giddings graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign in Champaign, Illinois, in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and a college football career.
Though he would not go on to become a career football player, Mr. Giddings was offered an assistant recruiting coordinator position upon graduating by the head football coach at his alma mater. This role recruiting players to the university's program served as an invaluable stepping stone for him before he joined his father's company, enticed by an opportunity to work not only with his father, but Mr. Al Davis of the Raiders. From there, Mr. Giddings' career evolved, culminating in him taking on the role of owner and president ten years later. Since stepping into this position, he has honored the playbook of both his late father and the company while still seeking out new opportunities to evolve Proscout Inc. for the future.
Since its inception, Proscout Inc. has played a pivotal role in contributing to and advancing the sport of football. Moreover, more than 15 of the last 30 executives in the NFL have been clients of his. As owner and president, Mr. Giddings makes efforts to establish and nurture partnerships not only with teams and their players but also with his employees. He has four staff, one of which, his assistant, has worked with him for more than 30 years. He prioritizes building strong rapports with his employees, gives them grace and encourages those who work with him to be responsible and independent.
