After earning a Bachelor of Arts in biology from Harvard University in 1979, Mr. Dougall began his career as a research analyst for the Bank of Boston. Subsequently, he joined Hotchkiss Associate as an investment analyst and portfolio manager. Over the years, he gained valuable expertise in the financial industry in varying roles with Harris Investment Management and Voyageur Asset Management. Backed by years of professional expertise, Mr. Dougall presently excels as the president of C.C. Dunnavan & Co., Inc., through which he manages financial portfolios, trains younger analysts, and oversees daily business operations.
Outside of his work, Mr. Dougall has served as the co-chair of the Minnesota branch of Harvard University's Schools and Scholarships Admissions Committee, a board member with Minnehaha Academy, and a youth advisor for the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago. Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, he aligns himself with the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts, the Financial Analysts Federation, and Twin Cities Securities Analysts. A chartered financial analyst, Mr. Dougall earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Harvard University and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from The University of Chicago's Booth School of Business.
In light of his outstanding body of work, Mr. Dougall was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society at Harvard University and was featured in Who's Who in Finance and Industry. While his career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in helping a client increase her financial portfolio from $5 million to almost $45 million, most of which the client plans to donate to charity.
