Since 2023, Dr. Hill has thrived as an operational excellence lead at Carrier HVAC, which provides heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems for commercial properties. In this capacity, he specializes in improving the operational efficiency of Carrier Commercial manufacturing facilities. Dr. Hill also focuses his attention on leading lean initiatives and Kaizen event communication and training on lean manufacturing mythology.
Alongside his responsibilities with Carrier Commercial, Dr. Hill has excelled as an educator at the University of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University since 2021. Between 2017 and 2023, he found further success as a senior manufacturing engineering supervisor for Daimler Truck AG, where he additionally served as a mentor for multiple college students. While working professionally, Dr. Hill obtained a Masters in Industrial Systems Engineering at the University of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University before completing a Doctor of Strategic Leadership at Liberty University.
An active affiliate of the National Society of Black Engineers and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., Dr. Hill attributes a great deal of his success to his exceptional work ethic. In the coming years, Dr. Hill intends to pursue increasingly challenging projects while advancing to become the director of a manufacturing organization.
