Since 1997, she has focused her efforts on working for the United States Embassy in Russia, collaborating with individuals such as President Bill Clinton, President Jimmy Carter, Condoleezza Rice and Madeleine Albright, to name a few. She left Russia for the United States in 2022 due to the war, forcing her to close her travel company.
Before her independent career, Ms. Formina worked as a travel assistant for the United States Consulate General in St. Petersburg, Russia and was a figure skater for the National Team of Russia. While stationed at the United States Embassy in Russia, she also worked with the Drug Enforcement Administration, earning recognition with letters of appreciation from both the White House and the Drug Enforcement Administration. To prepare for her career, she studied languages at St. Petersburg University and became a translator and interpreter for English.
Within the coming years, Ms. Formina looks forward to receiving her Green Card, having been in the United States for nearly two years. This will enable her to establish a new travel company where she can take Americans to London and Paris, where she is well-acquainted with museums from her past work with United States dignitaries.
