COL Nicole H. Curtis has been Inducted into the Prestigious Marquis Who's Who Biographical Registry

Colonel Nicole H. Curtis is recognized for her dedicated career as a United States Army Officer



Leveraging more than two decades of committed service to her country, she had held a variety of positions with increased responsibilities, caring for soldiers and dedicated to protecting the nation.

    WOODBRIDGE, VA, October 24, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Nicole H. Curtis has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Leveraging more than two decades of committed service to her country, Colonel Curtis had held a variety of positions with increased responsibilities, caring for soldiers and dedicated to protecting this nation. COL Nicole Curtis graduated from Michigan Technological University in Houghton Michigan, and received an active duty commission in the United States Army as an Air Defense Artillery (ADA) officer in 1997. Her first duty assignment was with 5th Battalion (PATRIOT) 7th ADA Regiment in Hanau, Germany and later was assigned to 4th Battalion 6th ADA Regiment and 2nd Battalion 1st ADA Regiment at Fort Bliss, Texas. While an ADA officer, COL Curtis' assignments included platoon leader, Battery Commander, and various staff positions, deploying to Israel, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait.

In 2005, COL Curtis transitioned to become an Operations Research/Systems Analyst (ORSA). Previous ORSA assignments include Training and Doctrine Command Analysis Center White Sands Missile Range, US Military Entrance Processing Command at Naval Station Great Lakes, First Armored Division, Fort Bliss Texas with a deployment to Jordan, Headquarters Department of the Army, G-8 Program Analysis and Evaluation Directorate at the Pentagon, Joint Force Structure Analyst with Joint Staff J-8, Warfighting Analysis Division Chief in Joint Staff J-8, and currently serving as the G-1 Strength Analysis and Forecasting Division Chief, HQDA, G-1. COL Curtis was also an Army Research Fellow at RAND Corporation in Santa Monica, California.

COL Curtis has a Master of Arts in Management from Webster University and Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from New Mexico State University, and a Master of Science in National Resource Strategy from National Defense University, Washington DC. COL Curtis' awards include the Bronze Star Medal, Defense Superior Service Medal, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Joint Service Commendation Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, and the Army Parachutist Badge.

COL Curtis is married to Roger Curtis of California. They have two children, Sarah and Jacob.
