Prior to embarking on her professional journey, Dr. Chadwick pursued an education at Miami University, where she attained a Bachelor of Arts in history in 1994. She continued her academic efforts at Purdue University, earning a Doctor of Philosophy in chemistry in 2000. As a commitment to her field, she has been a leader with several industry-related organizations, including the American Chemical Society and Women in Bio. Likewise dedicated to civic advocacy, Dr. Chadwick volunteers for MassBio, also known as the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council, where she has served on the steering committee for academic-industry partnerships and as advisor to early-stage start-up companies.
