When the office manager position became available, Ms. Stauffer applied and was accepted. A worthwhile commitment, she enjoys providing these essential services to the community and seeing positive outcomes for those they serve.
Located in Birmingham, Alabama, Positive Choices Pregnancy Resource Center is recognized as a locally organized and funded Christian outreach that serves women and men by providing them with medical, educational, and other related services in the event of unplanned pregnancies and those facing other health issues. The organization offers free and confidential pregnancy tests and limited ultrasounds, parent classes, pregnancy choices consultations, information regarding sexually transmitted diseases, and abortion recovery ministry. Additionally, Positive Choices mentors individuals seeking opportunities to support their education and job training.
Ms. Stauffer's commitment to Positive Choices Pregnancy Resource Center comes after a nearly three-decades-long career ranging from the School of Health Related Professions, and business officer in The Department of Radiology Research at the University of Alabama at Birmingham between 1984 and 2014. Her career path led her to work for the State of Alabama at the Birmingham Career Center and she also worked with students as a middle school teacher.
As a dedicated civil advocate, Ms. Stauffer has served as a volunteer doing mission outreach work through her local church. She is also active in the Trussville Noon Rotary club and served as president for term 2022-2023, Assistant Governor for Rotary District 6860, Region 13, and has been accepted in Leadership Trussville for class year 2024-2025.
Ms. Stauffer graduated from Faulkner University in Montgomery, Alabama, with a Bachelor of Business Administration, with honors, in 1997. To remain aware of important issues relating to her field, her organization is a member of the National Institute of Family and Life Advocates and Heartbeat International. Ms. Stauffer also served as a member of the Birmingham Chapter of Business Networking International.
