A highly respected figure renowned for her leadership, community service and contributions to the non-profit sector, Ms. Ford has earned distinction as the vice president of development for Hopelink, a non-profit social services agency headquartered in Redmond, Washington that is dedicated to eradicating poverty in North and East King County, Washington. Since 2020, she has focused her efforts on supporting the goals of Hopelink's programs, including building and launching cross-functional projects, fundraising and developing various policies.

Ms. Ford is particularly proud of her role in organizing Hopelink's Neighborhood Fair program, which serves as a vehicle for raising awareness about their resources, programs, services and volunteer opportunities. The fair is now a showcase of the community's partners, local entertainers and vendors, including T-Mobile and local hospitals, that facilitates easy access to critical services like emergency and financial aid and housing resources. Additionally, she lends her expertise as a board member for Baseball Beyond Borders and is a local chapter board member for the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

Before her present role, Ms. Ford served as the managing director of the Northwest Credit Union Association in 2009 and was a development manager for Teach for America in 2014. She continued her career in 2015 as a senior manager for Building Changes until taking a role as a development manager for individual, major and planned giving for Hopelink in 2017. She was subsequently promoted to the development director of giving for Hopelink in 2019. Throughout her career, she has been invited to speak at prominent conferences, such as Turnkey Conferences, the Nonprofit Summit and numerous events organized by the Association of Fundraising Professionals. The presentations she offers typically center on her expertise in effecting fundraising, non-profit organization development and how to enact positive community transformations.

Also dedicated to civil advocacy, Ms. Ford founded and still oversees the "After the Diploma" event, which equips young African-American girls who are either transitioning into high school or preparing for life beyond high school with essential skills and knowledge for their post-high school journey, whether regarding higher education or vocational opportunities. She also contributes to the development of smaller non-profit organizations by providing mentorship to leaders of color and assists other small non-profit organizations in her area. Added to these, she is the vice president of the Give Back Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting the community through building basketball camps and enacting school drives that is rooted in the Hickman Family Legacy Fund.

Prior to embarking on her professional journey, Ms. Ford earned a Bachelor of Arts in business administration from Clark Atlanta University in 2004. Following this achievement, she attained a Master of Public Administration in non-profit and government from Seattle University in 2014. She also holds membership in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a distinguished organization founded 110 years ago in 1913 by young women studying at Howard University to foster sisterhood, scholarship, service and social action.
