His organization is currently partnering with the Internal Revenue Service (I.R.S.) through its VITA Program; with this partnership, Mr. Obanor's organization has made a tremendous difference in the community and the lives of indigent taxpayers. He also authors a biweekly publication called the Diaspora Despatch, sharing his insights on a range of economic and sociopolitical issues in America and across the globe.
Mr. Obanor's personal life reflects his professional dedication to service. He serves as president of several nonprofit humanitarian and charitable organizations. Over the years, he received and was conferred various recognitions for distinction and professionalism. In 2022, a resolution was issued by the Municipal Council of the City of Newark, commending and awarding him the Entrepreneur of the Year award in its annual Odyssey Award of Excellence in Business.
