Leveraging her extensive corporate background, Ms. Stringer was the director of communications and the vice president of external affairs at Women Corporate Directors in New York City and West Palm Beach, Florida, between the years 2011 and 2014, managing communications, public relations, thought leadership, partner relations, and other aspects of the foundation's success. Ms. Stringer also served as the managing director at Catalyst Capital Investments from 2006 and 2009, as an associate investment program manager at Northern Trust Investments – Managed Accounts Group, between 2004 and 2006, and as a founding partner and interior design consultant at Chrystal Classics from 2002 to 2005.
Invested in her community for over a decade, Ms. Stringer recently co-chaired the advertising section of the BASH Fundraiser at The Benjamin School. She also served as the acknowledgments chair for its gala fundraiser. Moreover, Ms. Stringer was active as an Alumni Council officer and secretary for the school. Highly educated, Ms. Stringer received a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Duke University in 1999 and a Master of Business Administration in decision sciences, human resource strategy, and economics from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago in 2002. She is notably a member of Alpha Phi International Sorority, and holds admissions interviews for Duke University.
Attributing her newfound success to her persistence, Ms. Stringer has always had a competitive spirit. Having graduated from high school a year early, she took advantage of many opportunities in college to continue advancing. She was also recognized as the youngest student to attend Chicago Booth.
