Over the course of nearly three and a half decades, Mr. Landriscina has held several other roles within the company, including chief credit officer of CIT Group/Business Credit, head of field examiners, chief executive officer of Bliss Clearing Niagara, and managing executive officer of Leeds Building Supplies Inc. In the 1990s, some of his accomplishments included an extraordinary net recovery (exceeding $72 million) from a secured loan to Institutional Communication Corp which was purchased by M.F.S. This recovery was one of many other large recoveries, unmatched in the banking world.
Dedicated to his country, Mr. Landriscina served his country as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army Reserve-in 1971. An expert in his field, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Pace University before embarking on his professional journey. Alongside his work, he has had affiliation with the National Italian-American Foundation. Driven to serve his community, he also established a scholarship at Pace University called The Ben Landriscina Endowed Scholarship and was a trustee at St. Margaret Mary Church.
While his career has been filled with standout moments, Mr. Landriscina takes the most pride in the recovery he has made on behalf of CIT Group. One in particular that he managed was based in the Washington, D.C. area and involved a fiber optic cable/telephone operation owned by three corporations. As mentioned before, this resulted in a net recovery of over $72 million-over the then existing exposure, Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, he credits his success to his mentor at CIT, Joseph Pollicino, the vice chairman of the company. In the coming years, Mr. Landriscina aims to travel more with his family.
