Mrs. Dundar is a textile engineer and entrepreneur with more than 30 years of expertise in fashion, textile design and wholesale. Born in Turkey, she studied at Istanbul Technical University, earning a Bachelor of Engineering in textile engineering in 1991. She continued her education internationally, completing a German course as a part of the Vienna Technical University preparation program in 1992 and coursework in studio art and sculpture at Florida Atlantic University in 2019. Most recently, Mrs. Dundar was an alum of Goldman Sachs' 10,000 Small Businesses accelerator program.
Mrs. Dundar began her career in Turkey in 1993 working as a technical assistant to the chief executive officer of ATT Concorde, a division of Türkmen Holding. The following year, she became the marketing manager for Sera Tekstil Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd., departing in 1998 to co-own and serve as managing director of Trend Tekstil Mümessillik Ltd. In 2010, Mrs. Dundar launched her second independent venture, Tries Tekstil Makine san ve Tic Ltd, where she continued to develop a reputation for excellence as an outsourcing production agent for high-end and luxury fashion brands. Mrs. Dundar relocated to the United States in 2018 to pursue new entrepreneurial avenues, leading to the creation of Perlavera Trading, Inc. in 2019.
