Mr. Bobish initially joined Republic Services in 2007 as an outside sales representative. Exhibiting the best qualities in hard work, determination and perseverance, he subsequently rose to become a major account sales executive in 2017. Following time spent working at several other organizations, including Cintas as a sales representative of facility services, he resumed his role at Republic Services as an account executive in 2020, after which he was promoted to senior account executive in 2022 and, ultimately, his current role in 2023. During an earlier stage of his career, Mr. Bobish garnered experience in various positions within the industry with Safety-Kleen, Allied Waste Services, Waste Management, and BFI Waste Services LLC. He began his professional journey at the Kmart Corporation in 1995.
Among his most cherished accomplishments, Mr. Bobish is most honored to have been handpicked for the important role of advising Republic's salesforce team in Phoenix for an entire year. Likewise gratified to have extended his experience to others in the form of mentorship, he is proud that one of the salespeople under his tutelage went on to achieve the number one spot in the country in their respective sales category – a testament to his guidance and leadership.
Mr. Bobish studied drafting and design engineering technology at Stark State College between 1982 and 1984. Since then, he has been certified as a public speaker by Maxwell Leadership, an organization that works to enhance the leadership capabilities of its members and build business success throughout the world. Outside of his professional efforts, he is a frequent donor to Compassion International, a Christian humanitarian organization.
In accounting for his success, Mr. Bobish largely credits the influence of his mother, who instilled in him the values that have sustained him throughout the course of his life. While his career has been filled with memorable moments, he is particularly glad to have served as an effective caregiver on behalf of his father, despite the demands of his profession.
