Before becoming a personal trainer, Ms. Thornton spent 10 years in the cardiac rehabilitation industry as an exercise physiologist before transitioning into pharmaceutical sales between 2001 and 2016 for various organizations, such as Novartis, InVentiv Health Commercial, and Takeda.
As a dedicated civil advocate, Ms. Thornton has been affiliated with the Homeless Engagement Lift Partnership (HELP) nonprofit organization. Based in Phoenix, HELP is centered around restoring dignity and hope for the homeless community.
Ms. Thornton graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Science in physical education in 1990 on the Eau Claire campus and a Master of Science in exercise physiology in 1992 on the La Crosse campus.
