During the early stages of her career, Ms. Calabio also gained valuable expertise in tourism, finance, and management through the Lee Trust Beverly Hills, the British Neurological Research Trust Beverly Hills in collaboration with the Prince Trust of Prince Charles, now King Charles of Britain, the Federation of Philippine American Chambers of Commerce (FPACC), and the San Beda College Grade School in Manila.
An expert in her field, Ms. Calabio earned a Bachelor of Arts in Child Study from Maryknoll College, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the Philippine Women's University. Subsequently, she expanded her professional knowledge by earning a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Santo Tomas. While her career had been filled with highlights, Ms. Calabio takes the most pride in her work as an educator and teacher in San Beda College Manila, establishing the Filipino American Press Club of California and its affiliate social club Friends of FAPCCA, her tenure with her Famegate Group of Companies, and the ongoing major projects of the Famegate Foundation Global Corp, both in the Philippines and USA.
Though hard work and dedication have brought her far in her career, she credits her success to her offices in Lee Trust Beverly Hills, the British Neurological Research Trust Beverly Hills, the Famegate Group of Companies, the Famegate Foundation Global Corp., her active association and leadership in several community organizations in California and Manila, her good friends, her collaboration with the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles, and most of all to her three most important and great mentors, namely, her entrepreneur- musician late father Aladino T. Calabio, her late uncle and guardian in Manila, Senen T. Mendiola who was the partner of the late famous Henry Sy of SM Group of Companies, and her late great boss at the Lee Trust Beverly Hills and the British Neurological Research Trust, Sir Norman H.
