Dr. Kheng also teaches Business Communications at Clark State in Springfield, Ohio.
Dr. Kheng began her career in internet marketing with Cord Camera, a retail space for cameras and printing pictures in Columbus, in 2003. Playing a significant role on the eMarketing team, she was responsible for driving the early-stage implementation and management of digital marketing and communications. Dr. Kheng subsequently worked for Maximation LLC in Columbus as a computer operator and production control personnel. She was a contractor for the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services as a computer operator. In more recent roles, as a Project Manager on specific contracts for her company, she was responsible for overseeing the deployment and inventory management for Columbus City Schools, the largest school district in the state with over 40,000 students. She also led a 35-member technician team and provided coordination, outreach, and training throughout all 88 counties for its groundbreaking Ohio FirstNet Implementation public safety 5G broadband network. Additionally, Dr. Kheng owned and operated Tenable Consulting LLC, a minority and woman-owned information technology company in Hilliard, Ohio. More recently, she garnered success as a senior consultant for Advocate Consulting Group Ltd (ACG) in Columbus between 2015 and 2018. During this same time, she was also a senior consultant for Advocate Technical Services (ATS), which was later rebranded as TSG Partners, where she was offered a partner position in 2017.
As an expert in her field, Dr. Kheng has authored various case studies on knowledge management and management strategies. She also spoke publicly at the Project Management Institute of Central Ohio at its 2023 Ohio Professional Development Day about the role of emotional intelligence in the change process.
Highly educated, Dr. Kheng received an associate degree from Columbus State in 2002. She also earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, a Master of Business Administration, and a Doctor of Business Administration from Franklin University in 2012, 2019, and 2023, respectively.
Dr. Kheng is a professional member of the Worldwide Women's Association. She has also been affiliated with the Ohio Schools Health Services Association (OSHSA) involved with its letter-writing campaign to the Governor to advocate for the expansion of the Ohio Schools Medicaid Program. She has also recently been working with the OSHSA to bring technology tools into Ohio schools to help combat the mental crisis of today's students.
