Prior to establishing his firm, Mr. Burton worked as a personal trust officer for BB&T bank (now Truist). He graduated from BB&T's prestigious Management Development Program in 2000 and managed accounts for affluent households, and trusts, foundations, and endowments for a large multi-county territory. He became a financial advisor for Merrill Lynch in 2004. Following this time, he was a Financial Advisor and Vice President of Investments for Wells Fargo Advisors from 2008 until 2013.
To prepare for his professional journey, Mr. Burton earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2000. Following this achievement, he graduated from Campbell University's Southeastern Trust School in 2002.
