Mr. Louis has been recognized for his leadership skills as the disaster human service case manager for National Emergency Management Response (EMR) in Miami, the largest all-hazards emergency management non-governmental organization in the U.S. specializing in disaster preparedness, response, recovery, mitigation, and more. As a team leader, Mr. Louis is tasked with several missions every two or three months, managing national and natural man-made disasters and child displacement and providing mental health counseling services to those in need.
Before joining the Nation EMR, Mr. Louis was a biological scientist IV epidemiologist and employee trainer for the Florida Department of Health in Broward County. He was also a mental health clinician at Jackson Memorial Hospital and a case manager at GeoCare South Florida State Hospital. Among other noteworthy roles, Mr. Louis found success as the manager and co-owner of Philanthropy from the Heart Company. Looking toward the future, he intends to establish himself as a psychologist specializing in public health.
Mr. Louis has also taken a particular interest in information technology (IT) related to malware and data breaches in health care. He was instrumental in developing a program at the University of Miami (UM), including workshops for implementing anti-hacking software. He was notably one of the first to undertake and spearhead the necessary program due to a record-breaking increase in hacking incidents on campus. Mr. Louis also took a very innovative approach to preventing radio waves and Wi-Fi frequencies from reaching the database utilizing the same thermal blankets used by NASA.

Highly educated, Mr. Louis holds a bachelor's degree in behavioral science psychology from Barry University since 2015, a Master of Science in health care informatics from UM since 2017, and several credentials, including certification in epidemiology, as an online health care provider, in disaster human service case management, and informatics. He is presently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in behavioral health leadership from Walden University.
Recognized by UM for his success, Mr. Louis appeared on the cover of Informatics as a Rockstar Spot Light Ambassador and was named an Honorary Alumni Ambassador. He was also named a JHS Employee of the Year Finalist for Behavioral Health, received an Alpha Phi Alpha Award for Academic Excellence/Dove Award for Creative Writing from Florida Memorial University, and was the recipient of a Miami-Dade County Public School Teacher Assistant Award from Jackson Memorial Hospital. Additionally, Mr. Louis was inducted into the National Honor Society and is recognized as a Lean Six Sigma yellow belt. He attributes much of his success to the guidance of his late father, who firmly believed in providing the best opportunities for his son and passed on his wisdom regarding human psychology and public speaking.
