KIRBY, TX, January 11, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Roy J. Interrante, PE, GISP, PMP, has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Interrante is a professional engineer and the senior project manager and proprietor of Interrante Solutions, a company offering services and solutions in information technology project management, system design, forensic engineering, bridge inspection and load analysis, and real estate and property management. With his substantial background as a licensed civil engineer in Florida and a career spanning over a decade in project management, he is actively leveraging his experience across several domains, drawing upon his expertise in geographic information systems to contribute to his new business endeavor.

At the age of 17, Mr. Interrante's professional journey started in the construction sector, where he contributed to the field by manually conducting measurements and producing architectural drawings for his father, who was an architect based in Manhattan and specialized in remodeling brownstones in the city. Driven by a passion for mathematics and science, Mr. Interrante initially aspired to emulate his father's architectural pursuits; however, his career trajectory was redirected to engineering as a result of his military service as a combat engineer and machine gunner during the Cold War era.

From 1975 to 1978, Mr. Interrante was stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC, and Camp Hansen in Okinawa, where he served as a lance corporal in the United States Marine Corps and was subsequently deployed to various locations around the globe and underwent training with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, among other noteworthy experiences. Following the conclusion of his military career, he earned an associate's degree in engineering prep and thereafter attended the University of Central Florida, where he received a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and held the position of president of the American Society of Civil Engineers at the university. Thereafter, Mr. Interrante's professional path led him to the HNTB (Howard, Needles, Tammen & Bergendoff) Corporation.

At HNTB Corporation, Mr. Interrante became acquainted with bridge inspection and gained initial project management experience. His introduction to the field was augmented by a pivotal article on geographic information management systems, sourced from a publication by the American Society of Civil Engineers. This encounter inspired him to delve deeper into the subject, ultimately culminating in the completion of his master's degree in industrial and systems engineering at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, with a thesis centered on geographic information management systems.

In reflecting on the successes he has found in his career thus far, Mr. Interrante cites the role he played in a large integrated system project for NASA, which he was involved in during his long and successful tenure at Intergraph Corporation, as one of the defining achievements in his career. Between the unique aspects of the project and the creative freedom NASA afforded him and his fellow contractors, the project deeply resonated with Mr. Interrante. He leveraged his extensive background in project management and system architecture gained from working with Navy Region Southwest and the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, another crucial highlight of his career, to spearhead the project and serve as both the project manager and system architect. In his roles, he collaborated closely with NASA contractors and over 100 government stakeholders to ensure the project's success, which ultimately earned him and his team the prestigious NASA's Group Achievement Award.

As Mr. Interrante has transitioned from the corporate sphere to devoting his attention to his independent consulting venture, Interrante Solutions, he is dedicated to establishing the foundation for his company and to explore opportunities for its growth in the near future. Working toward this career goal, he plans to obtain his professional license in Texas to become a part-time city engineer and consultant able to pursue contract work and thus transition his company into a limited liability company. Looking forward, he desires to expand his professional network to secure additional contracts and is focused on strategically diversifying his entrepreneurial ventures, encompassing both his company and a newly initiated property management venture he is pursuing with his wife.

A component of Mr. Interrante's five-year property management business plan involves transforming it into a sustainable company that is capable of undertaking major remodels and new construction work. Together, underscoring a shared optimism, he and his wife plan to actively pursue ambitious business objectives. Along with his joint business endeavors and goals, Mr. Interrante has set the personal goal of completing the book he has been working on, which documents his faith journey, within the next year and a half. Throughout the course of his youth and career, Mr. Interrante has been grounded in his faith, embodying the associated virtues of honesty, integrity, and a strong work ethic—virtues that have been instrumental in shaping his personal and professional success.
