Before her current position, Ms. Weaver served as a deputy probation officer for the Eighth Judicial District Probation Department in 2002 and was an intern and medical social worker for the McKee Medical Center in 2003. In 2004, she was a medical social worker for the McKee Medical Center's prescription assistance program and financial counseling program, taking a similar role for the Loveland Community Health Center in 2005. The next year, she became a supervisor, case manager and discharge planner for the Northern Colorado Rehabilitation Hospital's long-term acute hospital in 2006.
Ms. Weaver continued her career as a lifestyle management coordinator for the United Medical Alliance in 2010 and was a medical social worker and bereavement counselor for Front Range Hospice in 2011. Later that year, she joined Longmont United Hospital as a medical-oncology social worker until becoming a field telephonic case manager for Humana in 2016. Starting in 2019, she worked as a rehabilitation case manager at Spalding Rehabilitation Hospital for HCA Healthcare for two years.
To prepare for her career, Ms. Weaver earned a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Social Work in medical social work, both from Colorado State University. Well-qualified in her field, she is a licensed clinical social worker, certified case manager and certified life coach. She also holds a financial social work certification.
