He was promoted to a Hospital Sales Representative in 1991 and took a role as a Senior Tissue Engineering Specialist for the Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation in 1998.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Dr. Mitchell earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from Bowling Green State University in 1985. Following this achievement, he attained a Master of Science in administration from Central Michigan University in 1997 and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2012. He subsequently gained a Doctorate in Organization Development and Change in 2023 from the Bowling Green State University Schmidthorst College of Business. Dr. Mitchell is an Adjunct Assistant Professor with Bowling Green State University and King University teaching courses in sales management, marketing, business communications, and strategic management.
