Moreover, Ms. Jala consistently devoted her time to volunteering at organizations and nonprofits of importance.
Ms. Jala is a volunteer of the Hindu Temple of Atlanta, Saving Antiques for Everyone Inc., The HOPE Center, the Food Co-op Initiative, and the Human Development Company, among others. Alongside this consistent involvement, she has remained involved in the educational sector as both a scholarship reviewer and test scorer.
Since starting her foray in scholarship review work, Ms. Jala has reviewed scholarship applications for the Hillsborough Education Foundation, the University of California San Diego, and the Ridgewater College Foundation. In the several years leading up to her tenure at American Book Company, Ms. Jala applied her attention to detail and her ability to give pointed feedback as a website tester for various companies. Since joining American Book Company, she has leveraged her attention to detail and team building capabilities to excel across her various roles.
