Before his present role, Mr. Duggan began his career as an account executive for P&O Nedlloyd in 1980, becoming a logistics manager for the King Saud University Project in 1983. Following this time, he was an executive sales representative for A.P. Moller – Maersk in 1985, earning promotions to a sales manager for Saudi Arabia in 1986, an owners' representative in 1987, to a regional sales manager for Florida in 1989 and a country manager for Kuwait in 1992, rebuilding the company's operations following the First Gulf War. In 1993, he was the regional sales manager for Florida and The Caribbean until becoming the general manager in 1995, taking a role as the vice president for Latin America services in 1996.
Mr. Duggan continued his career with A.P. Moller – Maersk as the vice president of the Middle East and Southeast Asia in 2003 and became the vice president of line management for Maersk Line in 2007. Following this time, he was the head of refrigerated cargo for North America with Maersk Line in 2014 until becoming the head of trade finance for North America in 2016. To prepare for his professional journey, he earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and management from the Ball State University Miller College of Business in 1979.
