Lucina Clarke has been Inducted into the Prestigious Marquis Who's Who Biographical Registry

    BROOKLYN, NY, February 06, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lucina Clarke has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. Ms. Clarke is recognized for her vision and leadership as co-founder and executive director of My Time Inc., an organization that strives to support, educate, empower, enlighten and uplift parents of children diagnosed with autism and developmental disabilities. Since 2007, Ms. Clarke and her team have worked to help parents live the life they deserve in a caring and supportive community. Her outstanding work has resulted in her being recognized with a 2009 Brooke Russell Astor Award and an Unsung Hero Award from New York City and a 2023 New York State Senate Women of Distinction Award.

Utilizing expertise honed over her 30-year career, Ms. Clarke leads her organization's efforts in program operations, communications and fundraising. She further draws upon this expertise in her activities with the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women's Clubs and Lions Clubs International.

Adjacent to her role with My Time Inc., Ms. Clarke is the founder of the Canarsie Parent Support Group for Individuals with Autism and Developmental Disabilities. Other community leadership positions include a seat on Brookdale Hospital's Community Advisory Board and Psychiatric Incident Committee Board and the 69th Precinct Community Board.

Ms. Clarke holds a Master of Arts in special education and teaching from Long Island University, a bachelor's degree in general education from Brooklyn College, and an associate degree in human services from New York City Technical College. Additionally, she obtained a certificate in applied behavior analysis from Penn State University.

Ms. Clarke is the author of "The D.I.V.A.S. Discovery Journal." In the coming years, she looks forward to continuing her journey toward becoming an internationally recognized motivational speaker. In her free time, Ms. Clarke enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband and two children.
