Community Service, a perfect win-win-win opportunity for NIL, the donor, the athlete, and the community!

As a former Memphis basketball player, I support athletics and appreciate the hard work/sacrifices made by athletes. I was on board with PowerNIL and this multi-athlete NIL deal. Danielle Barnard, MD

NORTH CANTON, OH, February 08, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- PowerNIL has signed 4 female Athletes at the University of Memphis to NIL deals for community service projects sponsored by 2 benefactor Tiger supporters in the Memphis community. The athletes include Madison Griggs and Shelbee Brown with the Lady Tigers Basketball Team, and Riley Simmons and Maddie Roberts with the Track & Field Team. A 5th athlete is in the works.

According to Ken Feinberg, President of PowerNIL, "These types of NIL deals make me really happy! NIL allows for so much creativity when it comes to constructing transactions. PowerNIL designed a series of transactions to exchange NIL payments for community service. Athletes helping kids and the less fortunate in the Memphis community, what a wonderful idea!"

Danielle Barnard, MD, Benefactor, provided her thoughts on NIL and this project, "As a former Division 1 basketball player for the university of Memphis, and now a surgeon in Memphis, I am supportive of college athletics and appreciate the hard work and sacrifices made by all athletes. I was totally on board when Ken with PowerNIL approached me with the idea of sponsoring athletes via NIL for community service projects. I view this as a win-win-win for the athlete, the community, and I feel great about it as well. More people should consider this strategy and contact PowerNIL, experts in this area to help create and execute a plan."

From the Athletes:

"I feel blessed and grateful to be able to support the community in any manner that I can. It means the world to be able to play basketball and to have possibilities like these." Shelbee Brown, U. of Memphis Basketball

"Receiving NIL opportunities through community service is a worthwhile project because you are able to help in the community in some place that you may be passionate about while benefiting from it yourself." Riley Simmons, U. of Memphis Track & Field
