WEST LAFAYETTE, IN, February 09, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Bryan M. Arbic has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Following more than two decades of demonstrated excellence in the U.S. Army, Mr. Arbic has transitioned to a leadership role within the higher education sphere. As assistant director of the Dorothy Stratton Veteran and Military Success Center at Purdue University, he oversees programming designed to serve a campus population of more than 2,100 veterans, active servicemembers, and military family members. Specifically, Mr. Arbic runs Purdue University's Education to Occupation Program, a series of programs, workshops and events that assist students in transitioning from camouflage to campus and then from campus to career. His outstanding commitment to his role has earned him the title of 2023 Veterans Champions of the Year in Higher Education by G.I Jobs Magazine.

Since stepping into his current role in 2022, Mr. Arbic has excelled at managing relationships with a wide variety of partner organizations and serving as a communication conduit for student opportunities. This includes creating and executing programs that build interview skills, reviewing resumes, and providing free professional headshots for students. Notably, Mr. Arbic also leads all communications activities for his office and serves as a mentor for the Purdue Student Veterans Organization, a chapter of the Student Veterans of America.

Prior to joining the Dorothy Stratton Veteran and Military Success Center team, Mr. Arbic was a highly experienced and dedicated teacher at Purdue. As the first-year military science course instructor, he played a crucial role in shaping the minds of young students interested in joining the ROTC. His expertise and guidance were instrumental in setting students on a path to success in the ROTC department and eventually as lieutenants. Mr. Arbic's vast experience in the U.S. Army — during which he was recognized with the Meritorious Service Medal, Bronze Star and Purple Heart — included roles in research and development, operations management, and personal security, and culminated as Company First Sargeant in the role of operations and human resources manager.

Mr. Arbic holds a Bachelor of Science in hospitality, sports and tourism management, with a minor in military operations, from Troy University. Looking toward the future, he is excited to continue his educational endeavors by obtaining his master's degree in higher education administration. Outside of work, Mr. Arbic enjoys spending time with his wife, Kristi, and their daughter and son. His favorite pastime is watching his children play sports.
