Born in Kenya, Dr. Yimbo relocated to the United States to pursue his studies and interests in environmental conservation and stewardship. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture at Texas Tech University, he earned a Master of Science in Agronomy at the aforementioned institution. Dr. Yimbo eventually completed his education at the University of Texas at Dallas, where he obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental Sciences with a concentration on Analytical Chemistry.
A fellow of the American Institute of Chemists, Dr. Yimbo is particularly proud of his tenure at the University of San Francisco, during which period he taught graduate courses and helped myriad students develop genuine interests in environmental science. In the coming years, he intends to further his involvement in charitable initiatives and nonprofit organizations. Dr. Yimbo also aims to devote more time towards his passion for international travel.
