Since 2023, Ms. Verpile has been the director of the Democracy, Gender and Inclusion Program with Parliamentarians for Global Action (PGA), where she makes critical contributions to legislation and policy development while advocating for alignment with the highest regional and international standards. She also participates in the drafting of legislation and policy across multiple jurisdictions in Latin America, Africa and the Middle East and provides capable consultancy about existing legislation and potential amendments in these jurisdictions. Ms. Verpile's legal career started in the private sector before she commenced her tenure with PGA in 2015 when she first accepted the title of consultant within the International Law and Human Rights Programme. She rapidly rose through the ranks at PGA, becoming a programme associate, Gender Equality and Population, in 2016; a senior legal officer for the International Law and Human Rights Programme in 2017, and the director of the Democracy, Gender and Inclusion Program in 2023.

Broad academic success has enriched Ms. Verpile's profile and includes a bachelor's degree in law (licence) from the Université Paris Descartes, which she completed in 2009 followed by a Master 1 in public law at the same institution, which she earned in 2011 and a Master 2 in public policy and development in 2012. Ms. Verpile completed her legal education in New York, where she graduated with a Master of Laws in U.S. and comparative law from Fordham University School of Law in 2014. She maintains membership in the Theta Epsilon Omega chapter of the Alpha Kappa Sorority and the American Bar Association and was appointed the chair of the African Affairs Committee of the New York City Bar Association in 2023 for a 3-year term.

Ms. Verpile is a leader in the fields of international law and human rights, being a repeat guest lecturer at the School of Government of Argentinian Universidad Austral and having contributed to the field through interviews and articles in English, Spanish and Italian. In 2016, she granted a comprehensive interview on child, early and forced marriage for LaPresse in Italy, and in 2020, she published "Integrity and the Preservation of Independence in International Criminal Justice" through Torkel Opsahl Academic EPublisher. Additionally, Ms. Verpile disseminated "El rol de las organizaciones intergubernamentales en la protección de los derechos humanos: perspectivas contemporáneas" through the Fundación Éforo in 2021.

Ms. Verpile counts her work on the campaign for the universality and implementation of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court as her most notable achievement thus far, as it provided the opportunity to build bridges between people with differing political affiliations and worldviews. She attributes her success to competence and passion for her work, and she cites a keen ability to listen and forge productive relationships.
