She notably owned Shen Jing Holistic from 2008 to 2016 and was a massage therapist for a chiropractic office and several local health and wellness companies in Vallejo, Benicia and Napa, California.
Through her community, Ms. Lucas has led her local Toastmasters International as a member, past president, and former vice president of membership. She is also an active member of New Harbor Church, where she served as a deacon for two years and traveled to Uganda and Kenya, Africa on missionary trips.
