Mr. Fox is the Director of Tennis at the Crestview Country Club, a private club in Wichita featuring two 18-hole Robert Trent Jones golf courses, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, an outdoor pool, and dining. An experienced tennis coach, he leverages his expertise in the sport to manage the establishment. Open seven days per week for members, Mr. Fox oversees scheduling, planning, promotions, and more.
Since joining the organization, Mr. Fox has made numerous improvements to its cumbersome and outdated system. Working closely with its parent company, Concert Golf, he identified a necessary comprehensive online platform, enabling members to book court times, clinics, and more without having to call or visit the front desk.
Attributing his success in the hospitality sector to his people skills, Mr. Fox naturally connects with people. Before joining Crestview, he garnered expertise as the Director of Adult Tennis at Genesis Health Clubs West Central location in Wichita, KS where he oversaw the adult program and successfully grew its revenue by approximately 125%. Among other relative roles, He worked for the City of Wichita at Riverside Tennis Center, beginning as a Staff Professional before being promoted to Assistant Tennis Professional. During that time, he was instrumental in growing the program and managing groups and clinics.
Besides his commitments to the hospitality sector, Mr. Fox briefly worked in life insurance with New York Life Insurance Company from 2019 to 2020 and was an inside sales representative at Electromech Technologies between 2020 and 2022. Looking toward the future, Mr. Fox plans to transition into a consulting role, spending less time coaching on court, and leveraging his track record in growing programs and teaching lessons to garner continued success in the field.
Mr. Fox enjoys giving back to the local community in his spare time. In 2023, he partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters to run a free clinic. He also frequently donates lesson packages to support fundraising efforts at his Alma Mater, Wichita Collegiate School, where he also serves as the Alumni Board President. He has donated lesson packages to The Independent School in Wichita, and is involved with the Maureen Connoly Brinker Tennis Foundation providing tennis opportunities for children. Mr. Fox also founded his own LLC, Royalty Tennis, that began as private and small group lessons he would offer around the community and has now transformed into an online platform featuring a website, social media platforms, merchandise, and a podcast.
Mr. Fox graduated from Newman University in 2009 with the assistance of an athletic scholarship for tennis. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies. Mr. Fox is also certified through the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) and is an active member.
In light of his success, Mr. Fox was named the 2022 Facility Manager of the Year by the USPTA of Missouri Valley, which covers the entire region, including Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Iowa, and Missouri. He and his staff were awarded the 2023 United States Tennis Association (USTA) Kansas District Outstanding Junior Tournament award, and he was previously recognized as the Newcomer of the Year Professional by Genesis Health Clubs in 2017. For his civic accomplishments, Mr. Fox was honored with an Excellence in Leadership Award from the Student African American Brotherhood in 2008 and a Shining Star Award from the Wichita Chamber of Commerce in 2004.
