Mr. Bailey's decision to pursue a career as an art teacher was heavily influenced by his profound admiration for his own art teachers during his childhood. Prior to his recruitment at the Garland Independent School District, he earned a Bachelor Degree in printmaking with a minor in marketing at the University of North Texas. Mr. Bailey subsequently completed coursework towards a Master Degree in education at Texas A&M University–Commerce.
In addition to his passion for art, Mr. Bailey attributes a great deal of his success to humble approach to education. He also consistently draws inspiration from the lessons of his former art educators and professors. In the coming years, Mr. Bailey intends to obtain a Master's Degree in education while pursuing a position as an art teacher at a local community college and serving as a caregiver for his elderly parents. In his spare time, he relaxes by composing his own paintings.
