Ms. Chan relies on exceptional academic training earned through the completion of a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese, Spanish and French at the University of Auckland. She subsequently finished a Bachelor of Laws in international law at the University of Auckland before pursuing graduate studies. Ms. Chan now holds a Master of Laws in international law from Hofstra University, which she completed in 2005.
Numerous accolades have marked Ms. Chan's career milestones, including an Outstanding Continuing Education Professional recognition from the Continuing Education Association of New York in 2021. The Continuing Education Association of New York additionally honored Ms. Chan with the James C. Hall Award for best course catalog and best advertisement in 2009, 2010 and 2011, and she was humbled to accept the Workforce Innovation Award from the NYC Department of Small Business Services in 2010.
