Leveraging his expertise, Mr. Aberdeen spent over 17 years in the private equity industry. During that time, he managed billions of dollars of clients' money and provided exceptional accounting expertise. His first role was as an accountant with Geller & Company in 2006. He then served as a director for Platinum Equity between 2013 and 2017 and as a managing director at Gen II Fund Services from 2017 to 2023.
Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, Mr. Aberdeen came to the U.S. in 2001 and received a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from the University of South Carolina in 2005 with the assistance of a soccer scholarship. In light of his success, the University of South Carolina named Mr. Aberdeen the Accountant Student of the Year. He subsequently earned an Executive Master of Finance from Baruch College Zicklin School of Business in 2018.
