Mr. Verenna's mother's work ethic and emphasis on education have been pivotal to his accomplishments and continue to influence his teaching philosophy today.
Mr. Verenna was named as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society through Muhlenberg College. In light of his success, Mr. Verenna was recognized with an American Chemical Society Award for the highest chemistry average during his college years in 1990.
