In her leadership position, she has proved instrumental in driving the company's growth and success; she is responsible for the company's business development, hiring and contract decisions, proposal writing, and making strategic decisions regarding product focus—efforts that continue to grow her company in a successful trajectory.
Prior to being a business owner, Ms. Woodfin worked as a department manager and corporate security officer at Los Alamos Technical Associates from 2011 to 2017. There, she applied her expertise in management and the technology knowledge she acquired during her tenure and studies in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1994 to 2002. After graduating from the United States Naval Academy in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in computer science, she later earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2009, which equipped her with the skill set and knowledge she needed to become a business owner.
In all she has pursued and achieved, Ms. Woodfin attributes her success to her faith. Growing up on a farm in Wyoming, she had the desire to explore beyond her familiar surroundings and a military education gave her this opportunity. As a Marine, she tapped into her potential and accomplished noteworthy feats. Ms. Woodfin holds the distinction of being the first female naval flight officer in the U.S. Marine Corps and the first female Marine to fly in combat missions—milestones that not only highlight her pioneering spirit but also her dedication to serving her country with distinction. For her aviation achievements, Ms. Woodfin was inducted into the Women in Aviation Hall of Fame in 2022 with the first class of Marine women aviators.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Ms. Woodfin devotes her time to coaching high school basketball to mentor the youth in her community. In reflecting on her personal and professional accomplishments overall, she is proud of being a wife, mother, and business owner and her legacy as a Marine.
