From 2013 to 2017, he was the compliance and business ethics manager for Central America, where he successfully convinced executive committees of the importance of compliance with international standards, including U.S. Law. Between 2012 and 2013, Mr. Sanchez was the Integrity Manager in El Salvador, where he was tasked with establishing a culture of ethics and compliance against considerable resistance.
Mr. Sanchez's journey in the legal and compliance fields began in Mexico, where from 1994 to 2003 he worked as paralegal and counsel for various law firms, as well as other in-house counsel positions. Between 2003 and 2011, he was senior counsel and assistant secretary at Sempra Energy Mexico. Mr. Sanchez has been praised throughout his career for his exceptional drive and commitment to excellence.
