Having begun her career in the retail sector, Ms. Lantigua Tejeda was a retail leader intern and assistant store manager at Ross Stores Inc. She subsequently garnered success in the nonprofit sector as a Spanish translator for the Junior National Basketball Association Latin American teams. Ms. Lantigua Tejeda's transition into the financial industry came about after being a client first and realizing that it was an area she found fascinating and could serve others regarding their personal finances, retirement, college funds, and other goals. Before joining Global Financial Impact, Ms. Lantigua Tejeda worked as a financial professional and insurance agent at World Financial Group from 2022 to 2023.
Outside of her primary career goals, Ms. Lantigua Tejeda has been a global ambassador for the University of Central Florida since 2018. She also volunteered for Give Kids the World Village.
Ms. Lantigua Tejeda graduated from Valencia College in 2016 with an Associate of Applied Science in business administration and management and from the University of Central Florida in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in business management and marketing. She also received several professional designations, including the VITA/TCA Internal Revenue Service certification, a Bridges to Success Summer Program certificate, and a Leadership Academy certificate through Valencia College. Ms. Lantigua Tejeda speaks fluent English and Spanish, speaks some French, and is presently studying Mandarin. She remains a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society, the Tau Sigma National Honor Society, and the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society.
In light of her success, Ms. Lantigua Tejeda received an Emerging Leaders Certificate from BB&T in 2019. She was also honored to receive an Officer Medallion and Certificate from the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society in 2016. Ms. Lantigua Tejeda attributes her success to having mentors, family members, and other individuals who supported her career.
