Before obtaining her current role at Stanton University, Ms. Oliver worked as the senior project manager of the Commercialization Division at Hyland's Naturals, through which she contributed to new product growth and liaised with internal teams and third parties regarding project timelines. Over the years, she gained valuable expertise in senior management positions with Hyland's Naturals, Natural Balance Pet Foods Inc., and Saban Brands. She also excelled with Universal Studios Hollywood, Warner Bros, and DreamWorks Animation for three decades. During her tenure with DreamWorks, Ms. Oliver participated in the Short Film Festival as a producer, director, and writer. She transformed female-driven narratives into critically-acclaimed novels despite numerous challenges.
An expert in her field, Ms. Oliver received a Bachelor of Arts in communications: radio, television, and film from California State University, Fullerton, and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Subsequently, she became a certified life coach through Life Coaching of OC, completed a Google Analytics course through Coursera, and completed the advanced retail strategy program through the UCLA Extension School. Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Ms. Oliver aligns herself with the Association of Publishers Special Sales, the Women Fiction Writers Association, the National Association of Professional Women, the National Association of Book Entrepreneurs, and the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Dedicated to her community, she has volunteered with Stand Up 2 Cancer, the Beauty Bus Foundation, Dig Deep, and The Boys & Girls Club of Stanton.
Apart from the recognition she has received for her books, Ms. Oliver earned Distinguished Woman of the year from the city of Stanton, the Making a Difference Award from Big Heart Pet Brands/Natural Balance, and the Woman of the Year Award from the National Association of Professional Women, the latter of which has been the highlight of her career. Another standout moment in her career was releasing the award-winning books, "Disturbed Tombs" and "Road to Elysium." Looking forward, Ms. Oliver intends to continue fostering her passion for writing while drawing on her expertise in Hollywood. Eventually, she wants to turn one of her books into a movie.
